Die Halskette mit 4 mm Breite und 51 cm Länge wurde in einem Plastiktütchen mit der Anschrift des deutschen Importeurs geliefert. Die dazugehörige Papphülse gibt Hinweise zur Aufbewahrung und Reinigung des Schmucks. Ein Zertifikat für die Vergoldung gibt es nicht.
Die Panzerkette besteht laut Hersteller aus Edelstahl 316, der mit einer Nanobeschichtung aus 18 karätigem Gold überzogen ist. Die Kette dient bei uns als Damenkette. Sie ist filigraner als gedacht und sieht wirklich hübsch aus.
An der Verarbeitung gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Die einzelnen kleinen Glieder sind gut abgerundet und haben einen schönen Glanz. Die Farbe sieht etwas rötlicher aus als bei echten Goldschmuck. Der Karabiner lässt sich einfach in den kleinen Ring am Verschluss einhaken und hält sicher. Die Panzerkette ist ein kleines bisschen länger als angegeben.
Ich habe die Kette zunächst in einer milden Seifenlauge kurz abgespült und dann sorgfältig abgetrocknet. Die Kette hat dabei keinen Schaden genommen. Beim Tragen liegt die kubanische Halskette nicht immer plan, was aber der relativen Leichtigkeit und den schmalen Gliedern geschuldet ist. Insgesamt handelt es sich um einen gut ausgeführten, ansprechenden Modeschmuck.
