Edited August 2024: upping to 5 stars. I have worn this daily since March and while it is very delicate and light, it has held up to daily wear, beach/pool/showers/workout/activities etc.
See new pics uploaded showing this is a quality piece and truly worth the spend.
I opted for the solid gold version which is very pretty. The script is clean, and there are no uneven or flawed edges on the script.
I have wanted an updated Carrie necklace for years, and the modern script is just enough to set it apart from standard name necklaces.
However for 200 bucks I would have liked a bit more weight/heft. I fear it is going to have a high risk of becoming snagged and the chain snapped on many types of jackets, sweaters, limiting the wearability and honestly, I was looking for an everyday piece that I could pretty much put on and leave it on (which is why I opted for the solid gold version.) It’s just too thin/flimsy for daily wear.
I’m keeping it because it is quite pretty and I like the modern script but my search continues for an everyday gold chain.
